Literary Gift Guide 2021

There is an ever-present warmth in the air at Christmastime, something that glows golden and can be felt in every enchanting moment of festivity. It’s a feeling of anticipation, of pure happiness, of everything good in the world being bundled up into one shining moment that lasts the whole season. There is such magic within the Christmas season and, at its heart, family and friends, kindness and joy.

“For Christmas is tradition time—
Traditions that recall
The precious memories down the years,
The sameness of them all.”

-Helen Lowrie Marshall

At House of Cadmus, we have our own little Christmas tradition–our annual Literary Gift Guide! This year’s guide is especially exciting, being our largest one yet. In curating this Literary Gift Guide, we aimed to find items that will satisfy readers who love things that are classically bookish–bookmarks, tea, mugs–among more unique and unexpected literary items that the readers in your life will certainly be surprised by. We love these literary gifts, and we hope you will too.

“It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.”

Mother Theresa
