Genres House of Cadmus Accepts:
Fantasy
YA Fantasy
Historical Fiction
Literary Fiction
Mystery
Nonfiction
Paranormal/Horror
Thriller
Genres House of Cadmus Does Not Accept:
Erotica
Contemporary YA
Romance
Poetry
If your book doesn’t clearly fall under one of the above genres, feel free to send the request for consideration anyway. Include genre, author name, publication date, and the synopsis in the review request. If you’d like the book reviewed by a specific date, feel free to request it, but understand that it might not happen.
Physical copies are preferred. A limited number of eBooks is accepted, in ePub format only.
Notes about specific genres:
Novels with romantic subplots and strong romantic themes are accepted, only full-blown romance novels belonging solely to the romance genre are not.
Paranormal/Horror novels and nonfiction books are less likely to be accepted for review.
House of Cadmus Reviews
House of Cadmus shares only honest, in depth reviews—meaning time will be spent discussing the pros and/or cons of the book in detail. We do not make an effort to lean towards the positive if the book is one that didn’t impress us, but we always remain respectful of the author. Negative reviews are not angry rants, we just elaborate on what we didn’t enjoy.
